1. What exit do I take to get to the statue?

Traveling South from Dallas, exit 112 and follow the service road, take the over pass over 45 and make a right at the stop sign. The statue will be about a mile down the highway on the right.

Traveling North from Houston, exit 109, make a left onto Hwy 75 and the statue will be about a mile on the left.

2. Does it cost to see the statue?

It does not cost but donations are appreciated.

3. Are pets allowed at the Sam Houston Statue Visitor Center?

Yes but not in the gift shop.

4. Is there a place to have lunch or a picnic?

Yes, the Sam Houston Memorial Museum, the Sam Houston Statue and all the parks have areas for you to enjoy a nice lunch or picnic.

5. Do you offer guided tours of Huntsville?

Yes, we offer a non stop driving tour and a heritage home tour. Please contact our office for pricing and more info.

6. Do you have a gift shop?

Yes, across from our visitor center.

7. Is the visitor center and gift shop open on Holidays?

We are except for New Years, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

8. Can you see the statue after hours?

Yes
