Journey Through Bethlehem is a non-profit, annual, presentation of Bethlehem as it was on the night Jesus was born. Centered around a live nativity, this family friendly event draws thousands of visitors each year to the Walker County Fairgrounds in Huntsville, TX. Visitors will experience live animals and scores of volunteers dressed in time period clothing sharing customs, food, crafts, and trades as they may have been in Bethlehem when shepherds arrived seeking the Christ Child. It will be held this year on December 3-4, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm each evening at the Walker County Fairgrounds located at 3925 State Highway 30, Huntsville, TX. All activities are free after a $1 admission "tax" is paid per person.

The Wynne Home Arts & Visitor Center
The Wynne Home Arts & Visitor Center is looking for volunteers to come and make ceramic bowls for our annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser, held on March 1, 2022. No previous potter experience is necessary! An instructor will be on hand to teach you the proper techniques.
All the decorated gingerbread houses will be on display for the public to come and see. Houses will be judged and prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. Light refreshments will be served and guests can enjoy a craft.
We invite you to join us for hot apple cider, as we watch the Annual Christmas Parade go bye. Parade begins at 6:30
PARADE ROUTE: Start at Sam Houston Ave and Bowers Blvd, proceed northward on Sam Houston Avenue to 11th Street then turn westward (left) and finish in front of HEB and turn down Ray Black Drive.
Come and paint an ornament to place on your Christmas tree. There will be a variety of ornaments to choose from. Limit 1 ornament per person. After painting, ornaments will be fired in the kiln and available for pick up on December 15th. Registration is required.
Who doesn't love gnomes? Come create a cute decorative Christmas gnome out of a foam cone, faux fur and some fabric.
